Huawei confirms end of Huawei Music service
Huawei has recently announced the end of the music service offered by the Huawei Music app. Therefore, Huawei Music users won’t be able to stream music online and stay updated with new music content with a subscription.
The latest information is coming directly from the Huawei Music app, which now flashes as a notification when the app is launched. Huaweiblog.de shared the entire notice of service termination as mentioned below.
“Dear HUAWEI Music users,
In recent years, we have made it our mission to provide our users with innovative apps and services. HUAWEI Music was created to provide essential music and entertainment services.
Due to recent business development, the HUAWEI Music Premium Service will be discontinued on August 31, 2023 and switched to the free music radio service. With this change, we want to focus entirely on building and expanding a sustainable technology environment for all our users.
We would like to say a big thank you to all users who have been loyal to HUAWEI Music from the very beginning. If you have any suggestions or questions about HUAWEI Music data processing, you can contact us at https://www.huawei.com via the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the HUAWEI official website. If you have further questions about this service update, you can contact our customer service.
Expanding entertainment options for all HUAWEI users remains a matter close to our hearts. Together with our partners, we look forward to being able to offer you new, innovative apps, tools, and services in 2023.”
Last date:
Huawei confirmed that August 31 will be the last day for the use of the service. However, Huawei has not shared any other details about the data management or what users need to do before the service ends. Also, the information about affected markets remains unknown as well.
It would be better if Huawei provided more details about the end of the Huawei Music service.
