Huawei confirms 1TB storage Mate X2 foldable phone
Huawei has now officially confirmed the launch of the Huawei Mate X2 foldable phone with 1TB of storage. This is another massive jump that has been made by this unique device and allows consumers to add a chunk of storage to keep extra files if 512GB is not sufficient for their use cases.
On this matter, a Huawei support staff confirmed that the new 1TB version of Mate X2 will come only for the official Huawei partners and not for public consumers. This could be a big bummer, as the consumer version was also expected. However, we don’t have any input on this matter, whether a consumer-based model is in the pipeline.
As for your information, the 1TB version of Huawei Mate X2 has 12 GB of RAM and is priced at 20,999 yuan, which is still a big sum of money if you’re looking for an expensive device that could fold and unfold into a large screen.
The support also recommends that consumers should only purchase Mate X2 devices through an authorized seller and retailers to avoid any misconception in configurations.
Huawei Mate X2:
Launched last year, the Mate X2 is second generation Huawei foldable phone that comes with dual display system, a large main foldable display is placed inside the phone. And a cover display is accessible once the device is folded.
The design is quite unique and stylish and consumers really love the overall usability of this device. However, the phone remained enclosed under the Chinese territory and you cannot get it out in the overseas market due to its availability.
Recently, Huawei has also announced a special version of this foldable phone that comes with a leather design and enhancements over the initial version with 256GB and 512GB of storage that is enough to hold your data on this massive tablet size device with futuristic technology.
