Huawei Computer gets 3C certificate, manufactured by Foxconn and likely to come with UOS

Huawei desktop computer has now passed the China Compulsory Certificate (3C) certificate, as the listed information shows that this new desktop is assembled by Hongfujin precision, a Chinese subsidiary of Foxconn. The certificate doesn’t reveal much of the information on its product specification.

Ahead of this certification, the Huawei desktop appeared on the official Huawei Developers website with the name Qingyun W510. More importantly, this computer runs on UOS operating system.

The Unity Operating System AKA Unified Operating System (UOS), is a Chinese Linux distribution based on Deepin Linux and commissioned to the country’s government to replace the use of a foreign operating system such as Microsoft Windows by 2022.

The UOS is currently under development including a desktop version for regular users (Deepin), Enterprise version (UOS), and a server version (UOS). An Initial stable version was released earlier in January this year.

Other than its operating system, Huawei Desktop equipped with Kunpeng 920 processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB Samsung SSD, AMD 520 graphics card, and features such as the fingerprint on power button support.

According to the previous report, such desktop computers are aimed at the Chinese domestic market covering different sectors such as office, industry, and education. However, the company may also launch these computers for regular consumers.

Currently, there is no official announcement that came from Huawei on the release of this desktop computer and its specs.
