Huawei climbs to first place in China smartphone sales within two weeks of 2024
Huawei has made its way to the top place for China smartphone sales in the first two weeks of 2024. The Chinese tech giant continues to climb the growth ladder with its amazing creations, innovative products, and advanced tech features.
Counterpoint Research organization recently published the weekly China smartphone sales report for 2024 and cited that Huawei is leading in this game, claiming first place. After a long time, the firm secured the foremost position in this ranking.
Notably, the latest report highlights three major reasons behind Huawei’s growth in the smartphone sales market. Undoubtedly, the first one is the introduction of the Mate 60 series in the region with the self-developed Kirin 9000s 5G chipset.
The second reason is Huawei’s loyal fans. Chinese consumers supported the company well even when it was struggling with the U.S. sanctions and foreign trade regulations. Also, the craze for Mate 60 Pro in the market is worth mentioning.
Eventually, Huawei users reflected high brand loyalty this time and did not miss the chance to praise the Mate 60 lineup through the booming sales results. The same outcomes are visible for the recently launched Nova 12 smartphones.
HarmonyOS NEXT – a major step!
Last but not least, the Chinese tech maker has made rapid progress in the development of HarmonyOS NEXT. The self-developed operating system is significantly catching users’ attention because of its highly efficient kernel that has surpassed the traditional Linux and Android open-source tech.
The new HarmonyOS version will show up officially in the fourth quarter of 2024 with impressive features and capabilities. Huawei has already claimed its spot among the top five brands for the Q4 2023 Chinese phone market and now it is aiming for new achievements this year.
As per previous details, the company is looking forward to increasing the shipment volume in 2024 for both standard phones and foldable devices. Besides, we could see a boost in the Kirin chipset production as well. Thus, Huawei will take every possible step to maintain its position in the native market.
