Huawei Chairman shows real Mate 70 Pro+ smartphone
Huawei Chairman now showed off the real Mate 70 Pro+ smartphone to its fans and consumers. The company hyped the flagship handset’s design in its first Mate 70 teaser. Although the real image shows a detailed look of the device.
Yu Chengdong – the Huawei Consumer Business Group Chairman showed the real Mate 70 Pro+ on his WeChat Video account. The executive shared a video revealing the back as well as the side part of the flagship handset.
The video aimed to introduce the new “Gold and Silver Brocade” color of the Mate 70 Pro+. While flaunting the device, Yu said that the phone uses a quite special material for its back cover. One can see the glittery texture under the light.
On November 18, Huawei shared the first look of the Mate 70 series in the turquoise back cover variant. However this time, Yu Chengdong revealed the new Gold Silk and Silver Brocade shade. The OEM described this look in a recent teaser.
Looking at the back side, the panel highlights a diagonally brushed pattern under the light. It’s generally the silver and golden threads woven minutely to craft a delicate yet impressive design on the premium Mate 70 Pro+ smartphone.
The camera exhibits the lines and details more clearly. It shows four lens openings housed in a giant circular lens module. It is surrounded by a thick silver rim.
The inner circle shows the XMAGE branding placed vertically at the top as well as an LED flash at the bottom. Yu further showed the side angle of the Mate 70 Pro+ which has an enlarged power button, probably for the fingerprint sensor tech.
Yu Chengdong said:
“Many people wanted to see if I showed my phone at the auto show. Everyone is particularly looking forward to what the Mate 70 looks like. Today I will not hide it and show it to everyone.”
Ironically, the Chairman hid the front part of the Mate 70 Pro+. However, early inputs suggest that it will have a similar look to the previous-gen model. It will feature a three-hole design on the front with a quad-curved display panel.
