Huawei Mate 70 launch November

Huawei today confirmed the launch of the Mate 70 series for November. A company executive announced that the most powerful Mate is coming this month. It seems consumers don’t have to wait much to witness the next flagship phone lineup.

Yu Chengdong – the Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business Group today implied that the Mate 70 series will launch in November. The executive didn’t mention any release time. Yet, he indicates that the official Mate 70 unveiling will happen soon.

Mate 70 series has been expected to launch by mid-November. A few leaks suggested the release will take place around 20th November or after the Double 11 Sale.

Now the company has officially confirmed the Mate 70 series debut for this month. Yu Chengdong didn’t reveal the release date. It seems the tech giant will conduct a discrete launch for the new flagship lineup, just like the Mate 60 Pro.

Last year, Huawei launched the Mate 60 Pro under the Pioneer Program. It didn’t promote or tease the device before launch rather directly opened it for sale.

The same launch strategy was applied to the Pura 70 smartphones in April this year. And the upcoming Mate handset might not be an exception to this theory.

Huawei Mate 70 series will bring four models – Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+, and Mate 70 Ultimate Design. All these models will carry high-end capabilities but may slightly differ in terms of design and camera features.

The highlight of the Mate 70 series will be HarmonyOS NEXT. Meanwhile, the word ‘powerful’ in Yu Chengdong‘s statement clues that these handsets will equip a new Kirin chipset, probably built on a 5nm process.

Previous inputs say that the Mate 70 smartphones will bring an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Although it could be a side-mounted solution for the standard and Pro variants. The high-end models like Pro+ and RS may continue to use optical fingerprint sensors.

With robust tech-pack features and high-end specs, the Mate 70 series seems ready to challenge the latest flagship phones in the consumer market.
