Huawei, CATL and Changan Auto’s AVATR car launch set for November 15
Back in August, Chinese tech giants – Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL announced the launch of the new brand AVATR (AVITA). Today, this new car company officially confirmed that AVATR car global launch is set for November 15, which is quite amazing news for the car enthusiast that has been waiting for this release powered by Huawei technologies.
AVATR AKA known Avita is a subsidiary of Changan Automobile and was previously renamed from another branding. Aside from Hardware, the AVATR car brand will receive technology solutions from Huawei and CATL for batteries.
During the announcement in August, these companies announced a collaboration that includes a new model – E11. The AVATR E11 works on CHN architecture (Changan C, Huawei H, CATL N).
According to the information, AVATR is equipped with CATL battery technology, and also supports Huawei’s HI smart car solution. The plan is to position a pure electric medium-sized SUV. According to previous reports, the length of the vehicle is about 4.8 meters, which can be regarded as a pure electric version of UNI-K.
Avita E11:
According to the information, the Avita E11 is powered by the full-stack solutions provided by all of the three partners including – Changan, Huawei, and CATL. It’s equipped with a CATL battery, features Huawei’s HI smart car solution, and is manufactured by Changan.
The Avita E11 draws under a pure electric medium-sized SUV. Therefore, its size could be 4.8 meters long.
It’s reported that the current model of the Avita E11 has already completed the prototype model development and proceeded towards the on-ground inspection. It’s expected that this new smart car will be unveiled by the end of this year.
