Huawei captures first spot in Top 100 2024 China Enterprise patent ranking

Huawei has ranked first in the top 100 2024 China Enterprise patent ranking. The company has once again grabbed the lead point in the patent race among other Chinese rivals. Perhaps, we may soon hear similar good news from the global side.

The Guangdong Zhongce Intellectual Property Research Institute has released the 2024 China Enterprise Patent Innovation Top 100 List where Huawei stood first.

Other top 5 rankers in the list including Huawei are State Grid, Tencent, OPPO, and BOE. The top 10 listing counts Alibaba at seventh and ZTE in the ninth spot.

Inputs further revealed that Huawei, OPPO, and Tencent have made their way in the first five rankers for the top 10 overseas patent applications and top 10 patent citations.

China and its native companies entered the patent world 30 years back. Over time, the country has taken major steps and released innovative techs for its enterprises.

Speaking of Huawei, the company has filed numerous patents so far. As per a report, the company has applied for 7822 patents in 2023 and this figure has increased in 2024. It continues to explore new technologies for the welfare of consumers.
