Huawei boosts HMS ecosystem development with local developer in multiple countries
With the restrictions on Google Mobile Services (GMS) certification, Huawei has accelerated the development of Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) with the help of local developers in different countries.
Recently Huawei organized Huawei Developer Day conference in the Philippines, Spain, UAE, Thailand, and Spain to expand Huawei Mobile service ecosystem and joined hands with developers to integrate HMS on their apps.
Huawei also assured developers that it’ll build the first DigiX innovation Studio in Dubai, providing full-site equipment and technical staff support for easy access to HMS integration and to get the most out of the Shining Star program.
“We sincerely invite all local partners to join our ecosystem construction, that’s why we had invested 1 billion USD in Shining-Star Program and building the first DigiX innovation labs in Dubai to fully support them,” said Adam Xiao, Managing Director of MENA Mobile services, Huawei Consumer Business Group.
Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) as well as HMS apps, incorporates Huawei’s chip, device and cloud capabilities and integrates a set of HMS core services (HMS Core), tools, and platforms for IDE development and testing.
According to the data shown by Huawei, HMS together with Huawei third-party applications and services forms an HMS Ecosystem for 570 million Huawei users across the globe with 1.01 million registered developers.
Developers of HMS Core capabilities and services only need to integrate the HMS Software Development Kit to use Huawei’s open capabilities.
