Huawei begins Mate X6 foldable phone’s first sale
On December 06, Huawei opened the Mate X6 foldable phone’s first sale for consumers. The company has packed this phone with advanced features and top-notch hardware capabilities. It also accompanies smarter AI functionalities on board.
Huawei introduced the Mate X6 foldable alongside the Mate 70 series last month. It shows a familiar design but brings amazing upgrades over its predecessors.
Mate X6 is now available on its first sale at the Huawei Mall. The device has two variants: Standard and Collector’s Edition. This time, the company has offered five fascinating colors for this phone: Gray, White, Black, Red, and Deep Sea Blue.
The new foldable phone has four RAM + storage options. The price of these variants varies. You can check the cost and storage details of the Mate X6 foldable below.

- Mate X6 (12GB + 512GB) = 13999 yuan
- Mate X6 Collector’s Edition (16GB + 512GB) = 14999 yuan

Note that you may see a “Coming soon” to a “temporarily out of stock” tag on the Huawei Mall. It means that the device is currently out of stock but the company will soon refill it. Hence, don’t worry as you will get your new foldable soon.
Specifications
Huawei Mate X6 comes with bigger screens and a thinner design than the previous-gen model. It sports a 7.93-inch flexible internal screen and a 6.45-inch 3D quad-curved external display. These panels support several properties:
P3 wide color gamut, 1.07 billion colors, 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 240Hz (300Hz for outer screen) touch sampling rate.
The device features two software systems just like the Mate 70 handsets: HarmonyOS 4.3 and HarmonyOS 5.0. Users can switch between these OS(s) as per their preference. The former supports Android apps while the latter works with native HarmonyOS applications. You can also pick the HarmonyOS NEXT Pioneer Edition.
Huawei Mate X6 equips a quad-camera setup on the rear side whereas, two 8MP selfie sensors on the internal and external screens. The rear lens bump contains a 50MP primary shooter (F1.4-4.0, RYYB, OIS), a 40MP ultrawide-angle lens, a 48MP telephoto sensor, and a 1.5MP multi-spectral sensor for color accuracy.
The device is equipped with the Kirin 9020 chipset and packs a 5200mAh battery powered by a 66W super-fast wired charger, 50W wireless super-fast, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging.
