Huawei is bringing Band 8 this Monday with an appealing look

Huawei’s next generation of smart wristbands, the Huawei Band 8 is launching on Monday and the promo has surprised us with new improvements made to the weight and the overall look of this wearable.

Huawei shared this promo with the slogan “Standing edge full screen, light and thin and then evolved!”. These words say a lot about the device. Hence, we are expecting some big upgrades as compared to the predecessor.

For now, we don’t need to speculate too much on the surface because Huawei also shared a promotional poster of the Band 8 and it reveals a ton of details.

Huawei also announced that the upcoming Band 8 will unveil alongside Nova 11 series at the conference on April 17.

Appealing Huawei Band 8:

According to the poster, Band 8 comes with a redesigned frame and it’s flat from all sides. The frame material seems more like ceramic and appears way better than the Band 7.

Also, there are three colors – Green, Skura Pink, and dark black. All three versions bring matching straps. With a closer look, we also spotted some carving on the strap design.

Furthermore, the screen is bright and the design is rectangular but it feels taller than the past model. The improvements made to the frame give it an entirely new look that will be appreciated by consumers. Huawei Band 8 is looking awesome but there’s a lot more to know about the previous Band version.

Predecessor:

The 7th Huawei Band sports a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen, 9.99mm body thickness, and 16 grams overall weight. Compared to Band 8, the previous version has a 2.5D curved design with round edges. The bezels are also big.

The Band 7 equips with a large battery that could provide backup of up to 2 weeks with optimal use and up to 10 days with heavy usage. There are various health and fitness features including TruSeen heart rate monitor, TruSlee 2.0, TruSport, and TrueRelax.

Huawei Band 7 fits handy with features such as find my phone, tap to wake the screen, and a 5 ATM-rated water resistance.
