Huawei Band 6 is getting display optimization software [Global]
Huawei Band 6 smart band users are getting a new software upgrade that brings new system improvements and display optimization that will improve the viewing quality of the Band 6’s on-screen content.
The latest Huawei Band 6 display optimization software upgrade comes with firmware version 11.1.0.50 and an updated package size of 5.01 megabytes. Do note that this is a procedural rollout and it’ll expand gradually for different users in various markets.
Huawei Band 6 users can check for this software update via the firmware section by following the instructions below.
- Open Huawei Health app
- Tap on your device
- Tap Firmware update
- Let the phone check for the firmware update and follow the on screen instructions

Back in September, Huawei rolled out 11.12.2.34 software update for the Band 6 users. The update installed major new features as well as optimizations:
