Huawei-BAIC STELATO S9 official launch scheduled for August 6

Huawei and BAIC announced that the STELATO S9 electric sedan will officially launch on August 6. After several promotion activities, both Chinese tech giants seem ready to release the high-end dynamic smart car on the consumer platform.

BAIC has already unveiled the STELATO S9 electric vehicle at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show in April. It also showcased the car in reservation and pre-sale activities.

Now it’s time to launch the Huawei-powered STELATO S9 and this will happen on August 6. Inputs reveal that the Chinese OEM will organize a new product launch event in Beijing at 14:30 (Beijing Time) to bring the ultimate car to consumers.

“A new interpretation of luxury and aesthetics #STELATOS9#, on August 6, 2024, at 14:30, HarmonyOS Smart Stelato S9 and Huawei’s full scenario new product launch conference invites you to witness it together!“ – wrote BAIC.

Besides this, the Chinese phone maker could unveil Nova foldable and the MateBook GT 14 notebook on the same date. Although Huawei hasn’t confirmed this yet.

STELATO S9 car has been available in around 100 stores (27 cities) in China, starting this month. It has a dimension of 5160 x 1987 x 1486mm with a 3050 wheelbase.

In terms of colors, the electric sedan arrives in five colors: Universe Red, Starry Gold, Gilded Black, Space Gray, and Ceramic White. The car also has four interior shades: White Sand Apricot, Amber Brown, Creamy While, and Midnight Black.

The product has two versions: STELATO S9 Ultra (four-wheel) and Max (rear-wheel). It also carries two motor versions: single and dual. Note that Huawei has supplied these motors as one of the finest and most powerful smart car components.
