Huawei Assistant testing 14.1.5.200 update with new features and improvements

Huawei Assistant is receiving a brand-new 14.1.5.200 update under the public testing phase which unlocks useful features and improvements. It also brings access to the 12306 China Railway app’s status and makes it more efficient for usage.

Looking into the details, the company opened the public testing phase for Huawei Assistant on February 2 and will keep it live till February 5, 2024. You can install the latest version from the AppGallery to explore new changes ahead of the official rollout.

Concerned with the changelog, the Huawei Assistant app is testing the 14.1.5.200 update with a bunch of prominent features. For instance, there is a new ‘Search’ tab on the home page. Besides, the traffic section now shows a ‘weekly traffic report’, bringing crucial details to one place.

Users will further get a quick reminder message in the notification panel for specific alerts and details. Also, the train widget adds ticket and seat information on the home screen and even reflects it on the lock screen of the device.

However, the main highlight is the improvement to the 12306 China Railway synchronization. Users can now link their 12306 China Railway app account to the Huawei Assistant and can sync the detailed route plan on the app’s home page.

Earlier, users were only able to read the detailed route plan and other information of the Railway app via the SMS facility. However, Huawei is making the informative service more convenient. You can switch your account via app settings.

Other than that, you may also find a few optimizations for the app’s performance and fluency while operating heavy tasks. Note that the update holds a package of 48.9 Megabytes and you should download it at the earliest to enjoy the new add-ons.
