Huawei Assistant update starts to rollout for Honor 8X
Honor 8X is now receiving a new EMUI update that brings it a new feature – Huawei Assistant. It also includes April 2020 security patch, which is already installed last month.
The company has also installed this new feature on some of its other devices with the VoWiFi released last month.
Huawei Assistant provides smart reminders, personalized news, and other content relevant to you. The assistant is accessible via the home screen.
Just swipe right on the home screen to access Huawei Assistant (or left if you are using a bi-directional language). Huawei Assistant can’t be accessed directly from AppGallery.

Honor 8X is receiving the Huawei Assistant with EMUI firmware version 10.0.0.192 upgrading from EMUI 10.0.0.188. The software package of this new update weighs at 516MB. It’s recommended to download this OTA via Wi-Fi or a stable network.
