Huawei and Shandong Heavy Industry now jointly promote the digital transformation of industry

On January 4, Huawei and Shandong Heavy Industry signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Weifang to jointly promote the digital transformation of the industry. These two firms collaboratively work in the welfare of industries and help them in transformation.

According to the information, Huawei and Shandong Heavy Industry established a power strategic partnership to promote Digital transformation including “5G + artificial intelligence” innovative application cooperation, digital technology talent training, intelligent manufacturing (joint) innovation center industrial cooperation, and more.

Regarding this, Shandong Heavy Industry high authority said that the company will work with Huawei to build a model project for global manufacturing intelligent manufacturing and leading the digital transformation of my country’s high-end equipment manufacturing.

In reply to this, Huawei’s rotating chairman Guo Ping said that Huawei will provide professional technical services for Shandong Heavy Industry Group’s digital transformation, network security, and R&D system improvement.

Moreover, he added both the companies have a big room for cooperation in more fields  to achieve better development such as:

• Digital energy
• Auto parts
• Intelligent network connection
• ICT equipment and more.

On the other hand, Huawei is currently involved in several sectors of the industry along with this smartphone business. The rumors of Huawei will build or launch its own chipset manufacturing company were circulating online.

Meanwhile, some industry insiders recently confirmed that it is a rumor that Huawei and SMIC will build a wafer fab manufacturing company in China. Aside from this, the Chinese tech maker has established a precision manufacturing company with registered capital of 600 million yuan in China.

Also, some people rumored that Huawei is going to build its own chipsets at Huawei precision manufacturing company. Afterward, the company insiders responded to this news and mentioned that Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has a certain scale of mass production and small-batch trial production capabilities. It is mainly used to meet the requirements of Huawei’s own products, but we do not build chips.
