Huawei and Lenovo deals to build HarmonyOS native printer app

Huawei and Lenovo signed a new cooperation agreement to build an efficient HarmonyOS printer app. This will be China’s first-ever printer application based on the HarmonyOS version. One may find interesting and significant services with this app.

Lenovo is a popular Chinese MNC with expertise in designing, producing, as well as marketing PCs, laptops, and printers. It also offers software and business services.

It has more than 120 printer products in the line, both commercial and consumer-based. The company also offers apps like Lenovo Print app, the WeChat Mini Program, the QQ Mini Program, and Zhixiang Print to connect and manage printers.

The firm even won the most developing partner for Smart Office title at HarmonyOS Innovation Content. Now it plans to fully enter the HarmonyOS ecosystem.

Lenovo has tied up with Huawei to develop a new printer app based on HarmonyOS native intelligence. The application is said to bring advanced features and useful capabilities that will enhance the overall user experience for printer owners.

The executives of Lenovo stated that they have developed the HarmonyOS native printer app. It is now available for public testing in the application stores.

Even though the stable release of the HarmonyOS native printer app version is uncertain, we could expect to see it by September. Huawei is constantly joining forces with new partners to stretch its software ecosystem completely in the home ground.

Over 5000 apps have already stepped into the HarmonyOS app lane and are under development. More apps are on the way and will soon enter into this ecosystem.
