Huawei AITO retains first spot, shipped 31727 new smart cars in March
Earlier this month we reported that Huawei AITO has become the best-selling EV brand in China and looks like the firm continues to lead as it has delivered around 31727 new smart cars in March. Most of these EVs count the newly launched M9 SUV.
AITO Automobile shared its data regarding the March 2024 new smart cars shipment and revealed that it has sold 31727 Huawei solutions-baked vehicles in China. This figure made it ranked first in the new power brands sales franchise.
Further inputs showcase that the new AITO Wenjie M7 scored 24598 units last month. On the other hand, the newly launched Huawei AITO M9 SUV model shipped 6243 units, which maintained the ‘champion’ title for the respective automobile firm.
This has also made AITO the top automaker in the sales of smart cars more than 500,000 yuan. AITO M9 also crossed over 60000 units in 86 days of launch.
Huawei AITO continues to grove at the top position in the Chinese auto market. Meanwhile a few leaks suggest that Huawei and SERES are working on a new AITO M5 model and might unveil it alongside the P70 series with significant upgrades.
The new AITO M5 is hearsay to be a revamped version of the current M5 EV. It is likely to eliminate all the problems existing in the recent smart car model and provide a more reliable driving experience to users.
