Huawei achieves 6GHz technology verification

Huawei has recently achieved a new milestone in network technology and announced to completion of 6GHz verification with operators. Li Peng senior vice president of Huawei and President of the operator business group announced this news.

Huawei says 5G networks require more abundant spectrum resources, such as new 6GHz spectrum and millimeter wave, to meet consumers’ ever-upgrading experience needs.

Sub100G full-spectrum to 5G new air interface has become the general trend. In terms of 6G Hz, Huawei has cooperated with operators to complete 6GHz technical verification, which can achieve a downlink rate of 10Gbps and the ability of “same site, co-coverage” with the C-band spectrum.

Statistics show that the number of 5G users worldwide has exceeded 1.2 billion. The pursuit of the ultimate digital experience by the huge individual user groups has inspired the emergence of many innovative content and applications and pushed the 5G network into a new era of 10G.

For example, the traffic generated by naked-eye 3D content is 3-10 times that of 2D video. Based on a single user, a week of new calls or a day of cloud mobile phones can generate more than 1G of traffic. These applications will stimulate ten times the traffic demand and open a new era of user experience.
