Honor CMO – Jiang Hairong has now confirmed the X60 phone launch for October. The high-end device has been in rumors and speculations for a long time. Although the company will unveil its exciting features and capabilities next month.

The information went official when a tipster shared the X60 certifications on Weibo. He stated that the device could go on sale after the Chinese Spring Festival.

Responding to the tipster’s post, Jiang said “Soon, see you in October!”. The reply confirms that the Honor X60 smartphone will launch in October 2024.

Note that Honor’s CMO didn’t reveal the exact date of the X60 unveiling. Since the National Chinese Day will remain live from October 1 to 7, the new device may launch by mid-October. The company will confirm these details after the Chinese holidays.

Jiang also said that the Honor X60 is quite tough. Perhaps the hint is toward the device’s performance or the durability aspects. It might use new materials for a stronger body architecture that can strengthen it against external damage.

3C certificate reveals that the Honor X60 will bring three variants. These models appeared on the certification sites as BRC-AN00, BRP-AN00, and BRP-AN80.

Just like the X50 series, these models could be standard, GT, and Pro versions. The listing also revealed 35W (could be for standard) and 66W (Pro/GT) fast charging support for these handsets.

The X60 series may adopt a giant circular camera module on the back, similar to the predecessor. Other details of these models are still unknown. Although we may soon grab more revelations about this new phone in the upcoming days. Stay tuned.
