Honor X60 series will launch this month with flagship-level specifications and it might also sport the satellite SMS feature. A new leak hints that the upcoming high-end models ranging nearly 1000 yuan could sport satellite communication features.

Weibo tipster @FixedFocus mentions that a 1000-yuan device will likely sport Beidou satellite SMS capability. The tipster didn’t reveal the phone’s name yet.

But judging from the pricing segment, the device is suspected to be the Honor X60. And it might be accurate to some extent. A few revelations say that the new X-tagged models will use flagship-level specs. For instance, a jumbo 6000mAh cell.

The respective device is also expected to bring better features, capabilities, as well as hardware components than the previous-generation handsets. Hence, the Honor X60 could feature satellite SMS capability for enhanced connectivity.
