Honor X60 series launch officially set for October 16
Honor has confirmed the X60 series launch for October 16. After several rumors and speculations, the company has announced the official date for its upcoming high-end models. In just a few days we’ll witness the official glimpse of the device.
Jiang Hairong – the CMO of Honor Devices mentioned launching the X60 series in October. As of now, the tech giant has added confirmation on its release date.
The company announced the news today while sharing the X50 series sales performance. As per the details, the previous-gen models surpassed 15 million unit shipments. It’s a new milestone for the high-end device after one year of its launch.
The tech giant further revealed that one X50 unit is being sold every 2.7 seconds. X50 series has achieved immense support and attention in the consumer market.
Accepting the same treatment for the next-gen models, Honor revealed that the X60 series is coming on October 16. The device will launch at 19:30 (Beijing Time) with a range of exciting features, effective specs, and tech capabilities.
Honor X60 series will likely have three models with 35W and 66W fast charging. It may have a unique camera framework with enhanced imaging capabilities.
Some previous leaks suggested that the X60 series will use a dual-curved display with 1.5K resolution. The company may also adopt powerful specs and solutions that will ultimately boost the device’s durability and battery life to a greater extent.
A recent input predicted that Honor could provide the Beidou satellite SMS capability to the X60 series. With this feature, users will be able to remain in touch with their contacts in times of emergency, even when stuck in no-network areas.
