Honor X50 will launch on July 5th with 108MP matrix camera
Today, Honor officially confirmed that its next Honor X50 smartphone will launch on July 5th at 7:30 PM (Beijing time). It is themed with the slogan “Claiming to be the pinnacle of ten years”.
“Ten years of climbing, towards new peaks. The ten-year peak of the Honor X series Honor X50 has brought a number of new quality standards that have broken through the industry and the hardcore quality has continued to upgrade” Wrote Honor on Weibo.
Honor has branded the “Matrix AI Vision Camera” at the center of the Honor X50’s camera module. The camera rim confirms that the device is equipped with a 108-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.67 sensor size and an f/1.75 aperture.
Past information also reveals that the Honor X50 will feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. The phone packs a 5700mAh battery, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 108-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back. The upcoming Honor X50 is likely to run MagicOS 7.1 if not MagicOS 7.0.
None of the Honor X50 specifications are confirmed at the moment but we’ll have to wait only for two weeks to meet the device on July 5th.
