Honor will launch Magic V2 foldable for global consumers at IFA 2023 on September 1st
Today, Honor officially confirmed that its new foldable phone Honor Magic V2 will launch for global consumers at IFA 2023. “Embrace the best of both worlds—all in one! #UnfoldTomorrow at #IFA23 Berlin on Sep 1, 10:00 CEST, and observe the future of design—a superposition of two worlds meticulously engineered.” wrote the company on social media.
Honor also promoting the IFA 2023 Honor Magic V2 unfold event on its official website with a countdown. The Honor event will start at 10 am CEST.
Honor Magic V2 is the lightest side foldable phone with 231 grams of weight. It has a thickness of 9.9mm, while it measures 4.7mm unfolded.

It has a dual battery solution, which combines a 5000mAh capacity and it could recharge with a 66W charger. The smartphone is using Titanium hinge, which is also super light and reliable. Eventually, the phone could close and open more seamlessly than the first generation of Magic V devices.
According to the specs, the Honor Magic V2 has a 7.92-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2344×2156 Pixels resolution. The cover screen is a 6.43-inch OLED panel with 2376×1060 Pixels. Interstingly, Honor promises to protect eyes with a 3840Hz PWM dimming and dynamic dimming screen.
Meanwhile, the phone runs MagicOS 7.2 software based on the Android 13 operating system along with a number of new foldable screen features.
