May Magic UI security update released for Honor View20

Honor View20 in India has recently updated with new features such as Huawei Assistant, Smart Charge, and VoWiFi calling. While the rest of the devices around the globe received the April security patch.

Following these system improvements, Honor has decided to give Honor View20 users another software upgrade in the same month but this time with a different security patch.

Honor View20 receiving a new update that improves its Magic UI security with the patches released in May 2020.

The May 2020 update installs security patches from Google fixing different levels of exploits and issues including 2 critical and 22 high and 2 Medium levels of CVEs.

The May 2020 security for Honor View20 comes with Magic UI 3.0 version 10.0.0.203 upgrading from version 10.0.0.199. While the size is 126MB.

HOW TO UPDATE HONOR View20:

Via Settings:

1. Open Settings
2. Click on System & updates
3. Click on Software update
4. Click on CHECK FOR UPDATES
5. Click on Download and install

Via HiCare:

1. Open HiCare app
2. Click on Services tab
3. Click on Update
4. Click on CHECK FOR UPDATES
5. Click on Download and install
