Honor Vera30 series with Kirin 990 (5G) officially confirmed for launch later this year
Honor has officially announced that its next V series smartphones will be called “Vera 30” equipped with the new Kirin 990 (5G) support dual-mode 5G access for SA/NSA networks.

According to Honor, the Vera30 series or V30 will be the company’s first smartphone after the phone series is upgraded to represent the company’s 5G smartphone lineup and set to launch later in the fourth quarter.
Apart from this announcement, Honor has not revealed any specs or design details of this 5G smartphone and it’s yet to confirm whether the company will also launch a 4G version or will stick to a single 5G variant.
Earlier this month, during the launch event of Honor 20s, Honor President Zhao Ming explained that the ‘V’ in the Vera is the roman ‘5’ representing 5G and era is the meaning of Era, by joining both words it becomes 5G era or simply called Vera.
