Honor trademarks Honor 10X, 20X, 30X, 40X and 50X, seems to shift gears after 9X series

Honor is yet to launch its new Honor 9X series smartphone but the company has already decided what its next X-series smartphones will be named.

Honor 9X and 9X Pro alleged specifications appear ahead of official launch

Honor has filed trademark applications for its future X series smartphones in different intellectual property organizations around the globe, the trademarks include Honor 10X, 20X, 30X, 40X and 50X. From this, Honor 10X was filed in 2016 along with Honor 9x trademark, while the rest of them are filed Last year.

Similar to what we’ve seen in Huawei P and Huawei Mate series’, Honor will also shift its branding focus to bigger letters after the launch of Honor 9X and 9X Pro, which is set for July 23.

Currently, there’s no information available when the company has originally planned to launch these devices but it’ll surely not happening in a single year. Also, the true intention for trademarking this lineup is to secure the name for the series.
