Honor to launch MagicOS 9.0 (Android 15) public beta on November 13

Honor has scheduled the MagicOS 9.0 public beta program for November 13. The company has shared a new testing recruitment announcement on its official channels. Eligible device users can look forward to more useful features with this activity.

MagicOS 9.0 went official on October 23. It is full of surprising AI features and significant capabilities that can enhance the overall user experience in one go.

The phone maker opened the first MagicOS 9.0 closed beta right after its launch. Now after completing the internal testing, Honor is ready to launch the MagicOS 9.0 (Android 15) public beta program on November 13, 2024.

Note that Honor will open this testing activity initially for the first batch of devices. The company will gradually add more models to the list in the time ahead.

Users who have signed up for the internal test in the early stage will receive the public beta upgrade via OTA (without re-registering in the activity). Others need to sign up for the beta program to obtain the new features and a better experience.

Honor will further open the second round of the MagicOS 9.0 closed beta on November 8 for other models. For instance, Magic 4 series, Honor 200 models, and more.

The company mentioned that features like third-party app call recording, app notification size improvements, and calendar support will be added to MagicOS 9.0 later this month. One can wait for upcoming versions for new enhancements.
