Honor Play finally gets VoWiFi feature and March EMUI security update in India
VoWiFi or WiFi calling is an important feature and it’s recently started to roll out for Huawei and Honor devices in India. In the chain of upgrades, Honor 9X, Honor 10 Lite, Honor 20i, and Honor 8X have already received the VoWiFi update for better calling.
And finally, the VoWiFi calling feature now reached to Honor Play users in the country, the update also brings the 2020 March EMUI security update. However, there are additional changes noted in the changelog.

VoWiFi Feature:
Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) or Wi-Fi Calling, enables users to use smartphones that support VoWiFi to dial numbers to use voice or video calls when a Wi-Fi connection is available.
March 2020 Security:
The March 2020 EMUI security, includes Google security patches. Fixing 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).
Note: The update is rolling out in batches, so it may take some time/days to reach your phone.

HONOR Play EMUI VERSION:
The VoWiFi and March 2020 security update for Honor Play comes with EMUI version 9.1.0.370 and 791MB software size.
More Devices:
Honor has planned to rollout the VoWiFi update to more Honor devices.
CHECK FOR THE UPDATE:
Open HiCare/Support app
Click on ‘Services’ tab
Click on ‘Update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’
Via Settings:
Open Settings
Click on ‘System’
Click on ‘Software update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’
