Honor Play 9A receiving November 2021 security update

Huawei has started delivering a new software update for Honor Play 9A that installs a security patch released in November 2021. This latest update improves the overall security of the smartphone by fixing different levels of exploits and issues.

As per the changelog, this update installs the latest Magic UI software version Magic UI 3.1.0.191 upgraded from Magic UI 3.1.0.190. So, consumers if you have an Honor Play 9A phone, we recommend installing your device on November 2021 update as soon as possible.

The November 2021 EMUI security patch fixes one critical, 22 high levels of CVEs, 8 medium levels of CVEs while there’s no low level of CVEs. Additionally, it also fixes 2 high levels and 8 levels of medium CVEs to increase system security.

• Changelog: Integrates Android security patch released in November 2021.

Update Note:

• The device must have a better battery backup to install this update that is a minimum of 50%.
