Honor Play 40C 5G with 5200mAh battery, Snapdragon 480+ launched at $126
Today, Honor launched a new smartphone – Honor Play 40C smartphone and it shares similar traits to the Honor Play 40. This new smartphone stands at a super affordable price tag of 899 yuan (126 USD).
Honor Play 40C comes with a 6.56-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, 89.47% screen-to-body ratio, 90Hz touch sampling rate, and 16.7 million colors. On the front side, you will see a waterdrop notch.
There is a 13MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera has various modes of rear shooting – time-lapse photography, night scene mode, portrait mode, video recording, professional photography, and panoramic photography. Also, dual-view video, HDR photography, smile capture, micro movie mode, timing photography, and more. You can shoot normal photography, portrait mode, Time-lapse photography, smile capture, self-timer mirror, photo filter, and watermark mode.
Honor Play 40C launched with a large 5200mAh battery, which can recharge with a 10W charge. However, it would be better if it was 22.5W. This Honor device equips MagicOS 7.1 out of the box with new software features.
It is using Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ 5G processor including CPU frequency 2xA76x2.2GHz+6xA55x1.9GHz. The phone has a 6GB+128GB memory option. Honor Play 40C comes with a Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Honor Play 40C brings three colors – Mint Green, Black, and Blue.
