Honor officially announced Honor TV, launching in early August

Honor today announced a new TV category in its consumer products lineup under the name ‘Honor Smart Screen’ and will officially be released in early August.

Zhao Ming the President of Honor said Honor will be not introducing a traditional TV but a revolutionize big screen and in order to do so, the company is partnered with online platforms to bring ‘Honor Smart Screen’ in life.

According to Zhao, the TV will not only come with regular smart TV options but also come with ‘Smart Connection’ at its core, which enables the TV to go beyond audio-visual entertainment to Content Sharing, Management, and Multi-device interactions.

Apart from the announcement, there’s no additional information provided by the official but one of the most interesting things we noticed in the presentation is the support of 5G, AR and VR, which we really looking forward when this TV comes out.
