Honor may dump Magic 7 Ultimate Edition in favor of new Ultra variant
A Weibo tipster says that Honor could dump the flagship Ultimate model for a new Magic 7 Ultra variant. The device is currently in the making process. It will likely debut next year with some top-end features and new hardware characteristics.
Every year Honor unveils an Ultimate Edition for its Magic lineup. But this time, the OEM may swap this model with a new Ultra variant for the Honor Magic 7 series.
DigitalChatStation hints that Honor may not launch the Magic 7 Ultimate but a new Ultra variant next year. The flagship lineup already has a Porsche Design model. Hence, it is unlikely to see a Magic 7 Ultimate smartphone in this series.
If true, this would be the first time the Honor Magic line will get an Ultra model. It may bring major upgrades over the previous-generation Ultimate handsets.
