Honor MagicOS 8.0 will debut on January 10 and in the meantime, the tech giant has shared teasers of a new feature – Files Anywhere Door, that will come along with the latest software system. This magical addition will make the user experience more convenient.

As per the new teaser, Honor MagicOS 8.0 will bring a Files Anywhere Door feature. Do you remember Doraemon’s “Anywhere Door” which can land you at your favorite place in no time? Well, the new feature follows the same concept.

While the company has not mentioned any major details, some users tried to discuss the functionality of this new addition, in the comment section. Eventually, a few users said that the Files Anywhere door feature will let you interact with various phone apps and services.

Similar to Huawei SuperHub?

Meanwhile, others cited that it could be similar to the Huawei SuperHub File Transfer feature that enables you to store text and images from different apps and keep them there temporarily. One can further drag the stored file out of the sidebar, whenever it is required.

To make things more clear, Honor has shared a video on this matter. The description reflects that the company is trying to give a new definition to human-machine interaction in the AI era. It made the quick switch between apps more convenient, reducing multiple taps and buffers.

As per the video, consumers just have to long-press on the text, pictures, files, videos, and other media content and drag them to the left or right of the screen to store them. Thus, you can store details, passwords, and other vital information swiftly by simply dragging operations.

Moreover, MagicOS 8.0 can identify pictures and videos in the gallery and select them wisely. It can also opt for several other smart features such as matching music subtitles, auto-edit videos, and more.
