Honor Magic V gets new home screen, system and security improvements with July 2023 update

Honor has released a new software update for its first foldable phone – Honor Magic V, which comes with brand new optimizations for the home screen and system with July 2023 improvements.

This latest update for Honor Magic V carries MagicOS version 7.0.0.123 upgrading from MagicOS 7.0.0.120. Users are suggested to download this software update to get the latest features onboard. Check all of them linked below.

One-tap auto arrange:

• Added a one-click movie feature, long press a picture or video in the album to enter the multi-selection mode, select multiple videos or pictures and click the one-click movie button, the phone will intelligently filter highlights and generate short videos for you.

Home Screen:

• Optimize the smart multi-window function, open the sidebar, and click the “More” icon to quickly view or launch applications that support smart multi-window.
• Optimize the floating window management strategy to improve the smoothness of switching between applications.

Safety:

To download this software update, you must first install the base version. This upgrade will not delete your user data, but it is still recommended that you back up your data before installation.

After July 2023 update, Honor Magic V will perform self-optimization and adaptation, which may cause the phone to sometimes experience heat.
