Honor Magic Flip foldable tipped to launch later this month

Honor is readying some ultimate foldable phones and a new input hints that the company could launch a Magic Flip vertical folding device later this month. At the same time, users have locked their eyes on the global Magic 6 series event.

According to @DirectorShiGuan, Honor is likely to launch the Magic Flip foldable phone after China’s Spring Festival. Eventually, the region will be hosting and celebrating the Spring Festival from February 10 (today) to February 17, 2024.

Earlier, the same tipster informed that the Chinese tech giant will showcase its upcoming flip-flop smartphone model in Q1 2024. As of now, the latest leaked post has added slightly precise timing regarding the official unveiling of the device.

In addition, the blogger shared an image, revealing the first look of the Magic Flip handset. Although the picture is quite blurry and doesn’t highlight the major details of the device. Yet, one can see a few parts and segments of the phone.

Diving into the depth, the image shows a white rear panel with two giant circular ring modules. Perhaps, the first one could have packed the camera lenses whereas, the second one may have been the external cover display. Everything combined, the design seems to be inspired by Huawei Pocket models.

Meanwhile, we may get a clear teaser of this device in the coming days. The latest input is still hanging in the air and Honor has not confirmed it yet. Hence, we need to wait for some time to obtain the official details on this matter.

The only information regarding the Honor Magic Flip that appeared in the past was, it may feature a dual-cell battery with 4500mAh capacity (2420mAh + 1980mAh). This is hearsay to be the largest battery for a vertical foldable smartphone.
