Honor Magic 7 series to support enhanced cross-app file sharing feature
Honor Magic 7 series will debut at the end of this month with an interesting feature: cross-app file sharing. The feature might seem a common addition to the flagship lineup. But it is more than just file sharing and can ease your daily life experience.
Zhao Ming – the CEO of Honor Devices recently attended a live broadcast along with the Chairman of 360 Group Zhou Hongyi. During the interview, the executive showcased the front side of the Magic 7 series and described some of its features.
One of the significant features of the Honor Magic 7 series is the cross-app file sharing. It ensures a seamless sharing of media files and documents between multiple applications on the device. It prevents any interruption during the process.
But what’s so special about this feature?
The new cross-app file-sharing feature can be managed by one-sentence capability. Simply put, the user has to instruct the smartphone about the file-sharing process and it will automatically perform all the steps, just like when done manually.
Zhao shared a video on its Weibo channel describing how the “one sentence cross-app file-sharing” feature works. As soon as the device or the smart assistant gets the command to share media files, it directs the follow for the following steps:
- Search the file or media content
- Select it
- Share the file with the required app
The feature also supports WeChat app operations. Users can command and the feature will select the contact to whom they want to send any image, video, and more.
Honor tied up with China Mobile to develop AI intelligent interoperability. With this technology, the Magic 7 series will support the one-sentence (one command) feature to recharge your phone, check bills, order food items, or share files across apps.
