Honor Magic 4 series gets October 2023 MagicOS update

Honor is releasing MagicOS version 7.0.0.168 for Honor Magic 4 series smartphones including October 2023 MagicOS security improvements update for all of the models. Check the adapted devices below.

• Honor Magic 4 (LGE-AN00)
• Honor Magic 4 Pro (LGE-AN10)
• Honor Magic 4 Ultimate Edition (LGE-AN20)

• The phone is upgrading to 7.0.0.168 upgrading from MagicOS 7.0.0.166

• Integrates into the Android October 2023 security patch to enhance system security.

Here are some update notes for the Honor Magic 4 Series October 2023 update.

The version is rolling out in batches. After receiving the latest build version, you can upgrade to version 7.0.0.168 via the OTA method. You can go to My Honor APP->Homepage->Check for updates and download the version according to the prompts to upgrade.

This update will not delete your user data, but it is still recommended that you back up your data before installation. After the upgrade, the system will perform self-optimization adaptation, which may cause the phone to sometimes experience problems such as heating, fast power consumption, lagging, or slow charging.
