Honor Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro flagship phones launched at MWC 2022

On February 28, Honor has hosted MWC 2022 event in Barcelona and launched the two flagship smartphones – Honor Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro. Alongside this, the company has also unveiled Watch GS and Earbuds 3 Pro for consumers.

The latest Honor Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro smartphones were unveiled with a unique design and equipped flagship hardware as well as software technology. However, these models will go on sale this month, but the company has not mentioned the exact date.

Honor Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro:

Display and Dimension:

Honor Magic 4 comes with a 6.81-inch LTPO OLED display with 2664 x 1224p resolution, 430 PPI pixel density,  120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCP-P3 coverage, HDR 10+ certified, and 100nits peak brightness.

On the other hand, Honor Magic 4 Pro launched with a 6.81-inch LTPO OLED display with 2664 x 1312p resolution, 460 PPI pixel density,  120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCP-P3 coverage, HDR 10+ certified, 100nits peak brightness, and MEMC. It is also able to convert SDR to HDR in real-time.

The Magic 4 measures 163.6 x 74.5 x 8.80mm and weigh around 199g. While the Magic 4 Pro expands 163.6 x 74.7 x 9.15mm and weighs around 215g.

Processor and software:

In terms of processor, both smartphones are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Adreno 730. Speaking about the software, the Magic 4 series comes pre-installed with an Android 12 based Magic UI 6.0 operating system.

Storage and Battery:

The Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro offers 8GB and 12GB of RAM. The internal storage option includes 128GB/256GB and 512GB. Talking about the battery, the standard model packs with 4800mAh battery with 66W charging support. While the top models have a 4600mAh battery with 100W fast wired and wireless charging support.

Camera:

Both the models have a 50MP triple camera system. Among them, the Honor Magic 4 Pro sports a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 64MP telephoto lens with f/3.5, optical image stabilization, and up to 100x periscope zoom. Aside from this, the Magic 4 instead of the 64MP telephoto, gets an 8MP telephoto lens with up to 50x zoom. On the front side, these phones have a 12MP selfie camera.

Connectivity and others:

The connectivity options include 5G/4G, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6, and NFC. They have Stereo speakers and 24 bit HDR Stereo recording. For security, the premium variant has an in-display fingerprint scanner and 3D Face Unlock.
