Honor is committed to give its best rather than increasing phone prices: CEO
Honor CEO – Zhao Ming recently attended an interview where he said that the company has always been committed to doing its best in the tech world and not increasing phone prices. It thinks about its consumers and aims to offer them the best services.
Zhao Ming shared his views on the smartphone market in a recently held live broadcast. The host asked the executive how he sees the game of rising smartphone prices.
In response, the CEO mentioned that Honor is determined not to increase the phone prices but only to do its best. He clarified that the company does not have any story to convince its senior officials to raise or not raise prices overnight.
Ming believes that consumers see efforts and the best experience. The only aim should be to offer the best products to customers instead of thinking other aspects.
“If you follow your own path, consumers will definitely see all your efforts. We have to bear the pressure, and consumers are under even greater pressure than us!”
Regarding the Magic 7 series, Zhao said that Honor has set the price for the new lineup under great pressure. He explained that the cost of chips and other components has risen sharply. However, the company managed to set an effective price.
Zhao further added that the supply chain is currently dealing with the price increase matters. Many tech vendors increase selling prices and reduce the overall product specification. As a result, consumers have to face the pressure of buying a new model.
The executive believes that companies should not let customers deal with the consequences, but rather find a balance between the product price and its configuration.
