Honor confirms 5.5G network support for all Magic 6 series models
Honor China’s CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) – Jiang Hairong recently confirmed that the whole Magic 6 series supports the 5.5G network technology. Though the company didn’t promote the feature at the launch stage, it now has a stamp on it.
On April 03, Jiang shared a post on its official Weibo account. While conversing with consumers, a netizen asked many bloggers say that 5.5G network support will reach phones this year and if he has any such plans for the Magic 6 series.
In response, the executive asserted that the entire Honor Magic 6 series already has the support for the 5.5G network. He further revealed why the network logo doesn’t show on the status bar and said that operators didn’t issue specifications at that time, as of which, there was no logo.
Although the respective device owners can now look forward to new OTA updates, upon installation they might see the 5.5G logo on the device’s status bar.
This has come around as a huge surprise for Honor Magic 6 users and they are now keenly waiting for the new software updates. No doubt, the tech giant will soon release a relevant version that will bring a new network experience on board.
