Honor 9X series and Smart TV launching soon in India

On July 23, Honor officially launched its 9X series smartphones and other products in China and new information reveals, the company will soon launch this new pair of phones along with a new TV for the Indian consumers.

Honor India President, Charles Peng told news agency PTI in an interview that Honor’s new large-screen Smart TV might sell in India. Originally announced on July 15, Honor Smart Screen (TV) is set to launch set for launch in early August in the Chinese market.

He also confirmed that next X series phones will also be launched in India soon.

“We will launch the next X series phone in India soon. The phone is a successor to Honor 8X launched in India last year, which was a huge rage with the youth in India and has received an overwhelming response,” said Peng.

Honor 9X series consists of two models – Honor 9X and 9X Pro, both phones come with a full-view display, pop-up selfie cameras, and powerful performance, all in the budget segment.

Peng explained that India is Honor’s top priority and its second-largest market after China, as the company aimed to achieve 10 percent of its market share by 2020.
