Honor 9X receiving January security update
Honor has recently kicked off the EMUI 10 beta program for pop-selfie camera-equipped Honor 9X, and since this smartphone is still on January security it is receiving the latest update, which improves system security, reports RPRNA.
Honor 9X receiving January 2020 security patch, providing fixes to 2 critical and 16 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) found in the recent build.

This new update for Honor 9X installs a security patch with EMUI version 9.1.0.317 with a size of 114MB.
How to check for update:
Via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on ‘System’
- Click on ‘Software update’
- Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
- Click on ‘Download and install’
Via HiCare:
- Open HiCare app
- Click on ‘Services’ tab
- Click on ‘Update’
- Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
