Honor 9X and 9X Pro officially unveiled: Specifications, Price and Availability
Today, Honor President Zhao Ming has officially unveiled the latest Honor 9X and 9X Pro smartphones. Both phones are packed with full-view displays, pop-up selfie cameras, new design, powerful performance and more. Let’s explore the full specs below.
Specifications:
Honor 9X and 9X Pro will come with same 6.59-inch FHD+ Full-View display, powered by 7nm Kirin 810 processor. Both of these devices are packed with a 4000mAh battery and runs on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie.
Honor 9X has 4/6GB RAM variants with 64/128GB internal storage variants, Honor 9X Pro has 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage option. Storages are expandable up to 512GB.
For photography, Honor 9X features a dual rear camera setup of 48MP + 2MP and a 16MP pop-up selfie camera. Honor 9X Pro features a triple rear camera setup of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP, with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera.
Also, the Fingerprint sensor is placed on top of the power button on the right side.
Other features include AIS Super Night View 2.0, Gaming+, GPU Turbo 3.0, The NINE liquid cooling, UFS 2.1 storage (only for 256GB variant).
Price and Availablity:
Pre-Sales of Honor 9X series will begin on July 23 and the first sale is set for July 30 at Huawei Vmall Mall, Jingdong, Tmall, and other online stores.
The Honor 9X with 4GB+64GB version is priced at 1399 yuan ($200), 6GB+64GB version price 1599 yuan ($230) and 6GB+128GB version price 1899 yuan ($275).
Honor 9X Pro with 8GB+128GB version priced at 2199 yuan ($318), an 8GB+256GB version priced at 3399 yuan ($490). Pre-order for 9X Pro will start on July 30 and sales will start on August 9.
Note: These phones are expected to be launched outside of China but yet to be confirmed by the company.
