Honor 8X receiving new software update with September 2020 security improvements

Honor is kicking off a new EMUI Software update for Honor 8X users on EMUI 10. This update includes the latest Android security patches released in September 2020 that bring improvement in System security and device stability.

Recently, Huawei P30 lite that also works on EMUI 10 receive the same update with the September 2020 security patches.

September 2020 Security Patch Details:

September 2020 security update install security fixes for different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 3 critical and 19 high levels of CVEs.

UPDATED SOFTWARE VERSION:

This latest update for Honor 8x comes with EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.229 with a package size of 110MB.
