Honor 8X Max receiving November 2019 security update and system improvements

Honor 8X Max is a popular smartphone that’s eligible for EMUI 10 and testing it through the beta program and recently received the December security patch. Moving on to its big and forgotten brother – Honor 8X Max that runs EMUI 9.1, now picking a new security update along with other improvements.

Compared to Honor 8X, the Honor 8X Max comes with a large 7.12-inch FHD+ display and launched in limited markets.

The latest update for Honor 8X Max optimizes system performance and stability to execute tasks more smoothly. It also integrates November 2019 security patches with fixes to 3 critical, 15 high and 1 medium level of vulnerabilities found on Huawei/Honor smartphones.

Users of Honor 8X Max grabs the latest software update with EMUI 9.1.0.160. Users that are still running on EMUI 8.2 can still upgrade to EMUI 9.1.
