New update for Honor 30 and 30S installs knuckle gestures, multi-device control panel and more

Following its last month’s updates, the Honor 30 series phones – Honor 30 and 30S receiving another set of improvements to its Magic UI 3.1 software system for better performance.

These new updates for both the devices install improvements in camera, system, and new features including knuckle gestures and multi-device control panel.

Knuckle Gesture: Adds knuckle gestures.

Camera: Optimizes the camera

System: Optimizes system stability.

Honor 30:

Multi-Device Control Panel:

Allows you to connect to your devices more easily by using the Multi-Device Control Panel, such as when connecting to your audio input or output device during music and video playback. Swipe up from the left or right of the bottom edge when the screen is unlocked to access the Multi-Device Control Panel. Go to Settings> More connections> Multi-Device Collaboration to try it out.

Security: Integrates the Android security patches released in June 2020 for improved system security.

VERSIONS:

Honor 30 receiving Magic UI 3.1.1.162 upgrading from Magic UI 3.1.1.143. The Honor 30S getting its latest improvements with Magic UI 3.1.1.162 upgrading from Magic UI 3.1.1.142.
