Honor 20S receiving new Magic UI update with audio enhancement and September security patch
Honor China is sending a new update for the Honor 20S that brings optimization audio experience as well as the September security patch.
The Honor 20S receiving a new Magic UI 2.1.1 update with version 9.1.1.132. This update is confirmed to be rolling out in China. This device is currently only available in the Chinese market.
If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction below:
Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

Officially launched last month, Honor 20S comes equipped with a 6.26-inch hole punch display with FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080), powered by 7nm Kirin 810 processor with 6/8GB RAM + 128 internal storage.
For photography, the phone has triple camera setup including a 48MP (f/1.8) main + 8MP (f/2.4) ultra wide-angle + 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor and a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera with AIS super night mode for selfies.
Honor 20S run on Magic UI 2.1.1 based on Android 9 and packed with a 3750mAh battery that can be recharged with a 20W fast charger. Similar to Honor 20 and 20 Pro, Honor 20S also features side fingerprint scanner as well as GPU Turbo 3.0 for higher gaming performance.
