Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro getting a new software update

Honor is releasing a new software update for the latest Honor smartphone series, Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro. The latest update brings important new features and few improvements.

According to the changelog, the Link Turbo capability is further enhanced, and the network can be intelligently accelerated to provide you with a large bandwidth and low latency smooth Internet experience.

Additionally, it added front camera recording mode HDR function to enhance the shooting effect. Also, it supports FlyPods Pro headset bone tone recognition payment function, can now open the payment interface through voice control.

Further, it fixed the problem with the fingerprint unlocking feature which was not working in some cases.

If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction below:

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

If the update does not appear in the settings, we recommend you to request it via HiCare App: Go to HiCare app > tap on Update > click on the Checkbox and hit Apply.
