Honor 100 kicks off pre-orders ahead of next week’s launch
Honor today opened pre-orders of the Honor 100 on the Chinese e-commerce site, JD.com ahead of next week’s launch event. The company already started reservations for this new unit a few days ago on the official Honor China website.
Past information reveals that Honor 100 will feature the first-ever Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processed with TSMC’s 4nm chipset process technology with an octa-core architecture design.
The standard Honor 100 features a centered single-hole punch-hole display and it has high-frequency PWM dimming for eye-protection.
Honor CEO, Zhao Ming said that the screen protection technology in its devices has been achieved with over 1 billion yuan investment in research and development and took about three years of time. Zhao also mentioned that it is working with industry partners to innovate more healthy display technologies.
Other than the standard version, the Honor 100 series also contains an Honor 100 Pro variant with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The Pro version has various interesting rear panel schemes that are stylish and eye-catching.
